Co-Founder & CEO of Tuesdays for Trash
Sharona Shanyder is a young Nigerian-Israeli environmental activist, Masa Alum, and Co-Founder & CEO of Tuesdays for Trash, an initiative that encourages people around the world to personally engage in waste management. She is also the marketing & brand manager for Albo Climate, a high-tech startup which uses satellite imagery and A1 to map and monitor carbon sequestration, and a field advisor for the youth lobby organization Our Climate. She was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria and grew up in Portland, Oregon before participating in a Masa program and eventually relocating to Tel Aviv. Sharona’s passion as an advocate for climate change, sustainability and Israel encourages others to be part of the solution toward building a greener tomorrow.
