NY Director of PJ Library - Former Executive Director and COO of Masa Israel Journey
Meara Ashtivker serves as NY Director of PJ Library and formerly held the position of Masa Israel Journey’s North America Executive Director and Chief Operation Officer. Meara is originally from Philadelphia and attended Otzmah, a ten-month leadership and volunteer program in Israel, after graduating from the University of Hartford with a B.A. in communications and public relations. She went on to live in Israel, earning an M.A. in community leadership and philanthropy studies from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Her expertise of over 10 years working in the for profit and nonprofit worlds in both the US and Israel at organizations for companies such as Hadassah, The Jewish Agency, JSpace and serving as COO at Boomset, has provided her essential connections and knowledge. Meara lives in New Jersey with her husband and children.
