Founding Director of Momentum
Lori Palatnik is an author, Jewish educator, and Founding Director of Momentum, an international initiative in collaboration with Israel's Ministry of Diaspora Affairs and over 300 partnering organizations worldwide, bringing thousands of Jewish mothers (and now fathers) to Israel each year for a highly subsidized, 8-day transformational experience with a one-year follow-up program in their home cities. Before this role, Lori received her degree in communications from the University of Windsor and went on to become a radio copywriter. Some of her books include “Friday Night and Beyond: The Shabbat experience step-by-step” and “Turn Your Husband Into Your Soul Mate.” In addition to her books, she has contributed to the anthology, “Heaven on Earth” and “Jewish Women Speak About Jewish Matters.” Lori is a much sought-after international speaker based in Jerusalem and a blogger for The Times of Israel. She has been recognized by many Jewish organizations and was chosen by the Israeli government to light the diaspora torch, one of 12 torches at Israel's 72nd Independence Day ceremony.
